Sunday Programs
Each time you bring your child, he will be involved in a planned, Christian-centered teaching program taught on his level of understanding. Our Sunday School curriculum is bible-based and aids in the spiritual, mental and physical growth and development of our preschoolers. We teach through Bible stories, bible thoughts, and activities which may include books, puzzles, homeliving, blocks, art or nature.
Extended Teaching Care is the time of learning for preschooler during worship services. Children Birth thru Pre-K are given an opportunity to hear God's Word through additional lesson and activities during this time. Parents and other volunteers serve in this very vital ministry.
Our Discipleship training program, "Movers and Shakers", is provided to children 2 years through Kindergarten on Sunday Evenings. This is an exciting time for children to get additional exposure to Bible truths through Bible stories, music, crafts, and Bible games. Nursery care is provided for children under 2 years.
Childcare is also provided for children birth thru 4 years immediately following this session during our Sunday evening worship time.
Wednesday Night Programs
Every other quarter, children 2 years old thru Kindergartners meet on Wednesday night from 6:15 to 7:15 P.M. for Mission Friends classes. During this time our youngest children are introduced to the concepts of missions through studies of real-life missionaries and through community-based mission projects. We use Bible stories, prayer, bible thoughts, and activities which may include books, puzzles, homeliving, blocks, art or nature to reinforce our weekly lessons.
Choir classes alternate each quarter with Mission Friends on Wednesday nights. During Choir, preschoolers get to experience the excitement of worship through songs, musical instruments, games, and art. Special church-wide performances are presented throughout the year to give children the opportunity to show all they have accomplished.
Nursery care is provided weekly for children under two.
