The College Ministry at Immanuel exists to reach college students at Cumberland University and beyond. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where college students can come and worship God freely. Our college ministry connects with the campus ministries at Cumberland to enhance their efforts as well. We are involved with Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM), Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Campus Crusade for Christ. Our goal is to be as visible on the campus as possible.
Socials and events occur monthly for all college students. Each event also serves as an outreach effort to attract students that currently do not attend.
Meeting Information:
Sunday School @ 9:45 meets in The Refuge House.
OpenDoor Worship:
Whoever you are…wherever you’ve been…whatever you need in your journey of faith, you will find an OpenDoor at Immanuel.
OpenDoor is our contemporary worship experience featuring the relevant messages by our pastor. OpenDoor worship is more than contemporary music in a casual and friendly atmosphere; it’s the intersection of the refreshing expression of worship and the timeless truths of God’s Word-it’s just what you are looking for: an OpenDoor. Every Sunday @ 11:00 a.m. on the IBC Campus.
Wednesday Bible Study:
For a mid-week break in the hectic college life, come to the College Coffee House on Wednesday nights. There you will be able to sing a few praises to God, take part in wholesome discussion of relevant Biblical topics, and of course sip on some good coffee. Wednesdays @ 8:30 p.m. in The Refuge House.
