Dear One’s at Immanuel,
Thank you so much for your warm fellowship and the kindness you showed us on our visit. We were so blessed to have been able to serve, worship, and learn
alongside you— even for just a short time. We were also very encouraged by you at the youth service. To see so many supporting the “young body” was inspiring! As Paul wrote to Philemon, your love has given us great joy and encouragement for you, dear brothers and sisters, have refreshed our hearts.
We look forward to seeing you again. Either at your home or ours.

Dear Christian Friends,
How God blessed me three years ago when He guided me to IBC! You became my friends, you gave me places of service and you prayed with me. Thank you! How I will miss you. I will remember you with prayer and I ask that you continue to pray for me.

Dear Wonderful Folks,
Thank you so much for the delicious lunch you did for Wilson County Administrators. As a
principal I appreciated all that you do as a group to reach out to not only our families but also now to us.
Thanks again for the blessing.

"The Bigger C"
When cancer raises its ugly head, and causes me fear and distress; how good it is to come unto Him, for He will give me rest. My life is changed forever because of this little word. Never again will I be the same, Cancer is now my thorn! Cancer is known as the "big C", and seeks to control my life; But Jesus Christ is the "bigger C" who helps me deal with strife. Praise be to God, the Father, and Jesus Christ, His Son. Praise to the Holy Spirit. I serve the three in one! So cancer has no hold on me, for I am free indeed! I serve a Risen Savior, and He's living now in me! Do you know my Savior? If you call on Him and pray, He will surely answer and will walk with you today!
W-O-W What a way to start the new year. The sermon was so "on target", and the music led to real worship. The p.m. service was meaningful and personal as we witnessed baptism and partook of the Lord's Supper. May God Bless all who attended as Immanuel continues to witness in 2010.

John,
Last Thursday prayer service was the best I have ever attended. Every person gave a great report of their own spiritual journey in testimony or prayer. You did a great job organizing it and selecting the speakers. I was impressed the way you took "sort of back seat" and then, when it was your time to pray, you called on Pastor Jorge to pray. I was grateful that you were our pastor that night. (Still am)

At a time when men of all ages are bombarded with temptation form television, movies, the internet, e-mail, magazines, cell phones, and even sporting events (just to name a few), straight talk like we heard in the "A Passion 4 Purity" service is desperately needed. It’s not just media to blame. The evil one is trying to influence us in lots of other ways as well. So we need to stay focused on the Word. A series like Passion for Purity would be a great start, along with the support of other Christian men.
