(Revelation 3:14-22)

I. The introduction of Jesus. (vs. 14)

1. The amen.
2. The faithful and true witness.
3. The originator of God’s creation.

II. The danger of indifference. (vs. 15-16)

1. I wish you were either cold or hot.
   • The cool refreshing church.
   • The hot medicinal church.
2. The lukewarm church.

III. The danger of self-sufficiency. (vs. 17-18)

1. Self-sufficiency creates a skewed view of reality.
2. Self-sufficiency demands a plan that is radical.
   • Our value needs to be found in Jesus.
   • Our righteousness needs to be found in Jesus.
   • Our healing needs to be found in Jesus.

IV. The love of a gracious Savior. (vs. 19-22)

1. Ownership of the Savior.
2. ​​Patience of the Savior.
3. ​​The promise of the Savior.
