I. When Jesus was born (vs. 15)

  1. Jesus is the image of God.
    • Representation
    • Manifestation
  2. Jesus is the first-born over all creation.
    • It does not mean order.
    • It means privilege.
  3. A new look at the Christmas story. (Luke 2:1-20)

II. When Jesus is born in us. (vs. 12-14)

  1. He qualifies us.
  2. He rescues us.
  3. He changes us.
  4. He redeems us.
  5. He forgives us.
