I. We have to make a decision. (vs. 1-2)

1. Look to Christ’s example. (vs. 1a)
2. Equip yourself with resolve. (vs. 1b)
3. Decide who you will live for. (vs. 2)

II. Understand the importance of time. (vs. 3-6)

1. Wasted time is forgiven time. (vs. 3)
2. Wasted time should be in our past not our present. (vs. 4)
3. Understand the finality of judgment. (vs. 5-6)

III. Prepare yourself to serve. (vs. 7-10)

1. Realize we are living in the end times. (vs. 7a)
2. Base your life on the narrative of Scripture. (vs. 7b)
3. Kick love into high gear. (vs. 8-9)
4. Use your gift to serve others. (vs. 10)
