Salt + Light Missions House Needs
August 1 - 31
At Immanuel Baptist Church we believe that every person matters and every disciple is a missionary. To put both of these values in action, we have several ministry programs that help us meet the needs of our local and global communities so that we might impact everyone with the Gospel of Christ.

The Mobile Food Pantry is held quarterly as a way to provide necessary resources to those in our local community. No registration or sign-ups are required to volunteer and 75+ volunteers are needed every quarter.
See the events section above for the next scheduled date.
The Salt + Light Missions House is open to the local community to receive resources for themselves and their families free of charge thanks to the donations from our members and community. Monthly collection needs are announced every month to make sure the house is stocked with the items needed by our local neighbors.
The Salt & Light Missions House is open to the public on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
A cancer diagnosis can make you feel isolated, frightened, and often alone. But you are NOT alone. God is there with you, now and always. And we are here too, as He has called us to practice the second commandment principle “Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” so that no one faces cancer alone. Hope Joy Light is a faith-based support group where women (patients, survivors, & caregivers) who have been affected by cancer come together to share their experiences, offer mutual support, learn about resources, and find comfort during a challenging journey.
Hope Joy Light meets the first Monday of the month at 6:00 PM in Owens R100.
At IBC we prioritize meeting the needs of those around our community and our world. The list below shows the organizations and initiatives we partner with to meet these needs.
Offering Initiative runs quarterly in conjunction with the observation of the Lord’s Supper.
